The LODGES are located within the sanctuary of the historic walled gardens of the Castlemartyr Estate. There are 42 Lodges, clustered in two separate U shaped areas of 20 and 22 units, with 5 differing styles varying from 2 to 3 bedrooms. The lodges are located in mature landscaping where views of the golf course and the parkland are plentiful. One of the world?s oldest ?Cork trees? is also resident in the walled gardens. Size varies from 1410 square feet up to 1822 square feet, and can accommodate either 4 or 6 people depending on the number of bedrooms. Nos. 21 and 42 are wheelchair accessible and both are three bed roomed. Each lodge has been decorated and furnished to the highest standards and specification,all are bathed in natural daylight. The entrance hall includes storage for golf clubs, clothes and shoes, as well as a separate cloakroom with WC and wash-hand basin. All floors are wooden with the exceptions of the kitchen and bathrooms which are tiled. The inner door leads into the bright and spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The modern built in kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing/tumble dryer. All modern conveniences, utensils, china and cutlery are available to entertain 6 people in style around the large dining table. Depending on the style of the lodge, the living rooms feature double height windows or vaulted windows. Furnishings include 2 luxurious leather sofas, coffee table, LCD TV, and bureau desk, wireless internet access, and are without doubt a home away from home. Patio doors lead from the living room out onto a large wooden deck area and the lodges? garden protected by a privacy wall. The open plan staircase leads to a bright landing area from which there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king size bed, wardrobe and dressing table, LCD TV, and en-suite bathroom with bath. The second bedroom features a double bed, storage and is also en-suite with shower. The 3 bed roomed Lodges are designed with the third bedroom on the ground floor. Each resident can park their vehicle directly outside their lodge.The 2 and 3 bed roomed Mews Houses (10 in total) are located in the ruins of the original 12th century castle, and are situated close to the 18th 17th century Manor House, with views into the internal courtyard and castle walls. The Mews Houses vary from 765 square feet to 1480 square feet, with each one having a different and individual layout, some with original beams and original castle windows. The mews houses feature a light and airy open plan kitchen/dining/living room; a modern built-in kitchen fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing/tumble dryer. All modern conveniences, utensils, china and cutlery are available to entertain 6 people in style around the large dining table. The comfortable living space features 2 luxurious leather sofas, coffee table, wireless internet access and flat screen TV. Each Mews House is two-storey, with a teak stairway leading upstairs. There are houses with one bedroom on the ground floor and the remaining bedrooms upstairs, again styles vary with some bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms and others that have separate bathrooms. One Mews House, for example, has three bedrooms, the master bedroom upstairs, the second and third bedrooms share a large family bathroom on the ground floor, kitchen and dining room on the ground floor and living room upstairs. Bedrooms either have king sized, double or single beds, storage space and LCD TV?s. Car parking is located close by outside the Castle walls.

The main bedroom has seating space also, wardrobe space, bath in the ensuite with Kingsize bed.The second bedroom has a zip and link bed and a shower ensuite. All bedrooms have flat screen TV?s and the beds are Irish made. Both bedrooms are upstairs. Wooden floors throughout.
Three Bedroomed Lodge

These renovated Mews retain their old world charm with exposed beams and castle style windows. Main room features king size bath ensuite and flat screen TV. The second bedroom feature zip and link beads, shower ensuite bathrooms. All bedrooms have carpet flooring
Three Bedroomed Mews House
These renovated Mews retain their old world charm with original beams and castle style windows. Master bedroom features double bed, en-suite bathroom, LCD TV and wireless internet access. The second and third bedroom feature zip and link beds, en-suite shower room. Flooring downstairs is tiled to the kitchen/living/dining room, a teak staircase leads upstairs to the carpeted bedrooms.
